Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify for the SWUFE Chinese Government Scholarship:

Nationality
Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport.

Educational Background

Master’s Applicants: Must hold a bachelor’s degree.
Ph.D. Applicants: Must hold a master’s degree.
Students graduating in 2025 must provide proof of graduation before enrollment.

Age Requirements

Applicants for Master’s must be under 35 years old.
Applicants for Ph.D. must be under 40 years old.

Language Proficiency

Language proficiency certificate is not required if the applicant’s native language is English or if the applicant has studied at least two years of higher education in English.

General Conduct

The applicant should abide by Chinese laws and the regulations of SWUFE.

Application Procedure

CSC Online Application

Log in to the CSC Online Application System.
Choose “Scholarship Type: B” and fill in the Agency Number: 10651.
Submit the application form online.

SWUFE Online Application

Apply through the SWUFE International Students Service System.
Upload all the above-mentioned documents, including the CSC application form.

Application Fee

An application fee of 600 RMB is required in non-refundable status.
Make sure all documents are accurate and complete to avoid delays in processing your application.

Application Deadline

The application deadline for the SWUFE Chinese Government Scholarship is February 20, 2025.
