Since Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ arrest in 2024, the celebrity world has widely abandoned him. Now behind bars on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, his shocking downfall-but looking back, many say there were signs of this self-centered man years ago.

In a 2018 interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live!, Diddy reflected on being “upset” over Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson’s infamous 2004 Super Bowl performance. However, his frustration had nothing to do with the infamous wardrobe malfunction.

That year’s halftime show featured multiple stars, but all anyone remembers is the moment Timberlake accidentally exposed Jackson’s breast. Diddy, who also performed that night, wasn’t upset about the controversy-instead, he was mad that his own set was completely overshadowed.

I’m still upset about that Super Bowl,” he told Cohen. “I invest six months rehearsing, nobody even knew I performed.” He noted Cohen told him he never knew Diddy performed.

Now, it looks like Diddy will never have another Super Bowl moment. As his trial has been set for May, most of Hollywood is abandoning him. Jay-Z has denied ever being his friend and Will Smith made it public in the media that he ever was associated with this disgraced mogul.

For now, Diddy stays incarcerated, leaving only to attend court dates and a visit to the hospital-miles from the limelight he once embraced.
