Verse of the Day
He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. – Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
DAILY DEVOTION
3rd November, 2025
In a world that constantly demands motion — new plans, next steps, endless activity — God calls His children to stillness. He reminds us that His plans are not rushed or reactive; they are deliberate, perfect, and rooted in eternal love.
When Jeremiah wrote to the Israelites in exile, they were far from home, confused, and uncertain about tomorrow. Yet God assured them that He was not done — He had plans to prosper them and give them hope (Jeremiah 29:10-14).
Sometimes, like them, we face seasons that seem like detours. But every delay may be divine direction. “The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me” (Psalm 138:8) — this truth reminds us that our story is not random.
Even when we can’t trace His hand, we can trust His heart. Your current chapter might look unclear, but the Author of your destiny never writes in vain.
Leah had spent five years applying for her dream job. Each rejection letter weakened her confidence. One day during prayer, she came across Jeremiah 29:11, and it pierced her heart anew.
She realized God wasn’t denying her; He was redirecting her. Months later, she was offered a position in a nonprofit that aligned with her passion to help children.
Looking back, Leah saw how every “no” was actually protection from settling too soon. Like Joseph in Genesis 50:20, she learned that what seemed like setbacks were setups for something greater.
PRAYER
Father, thank You for having a plan for my life — one filled with hope, peace, and purpose. Teach me to trust You even when I can’t see the outcome. Give me patience in the waiting and faith in the unseen. Help me rest in Your timing, knowing that every step is ordered and every season has meaning. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

PRAYERS OF SALVATION
PRAY THIS: “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins that I may give my life to you. Wash me. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That he was put to death on the cross for my sin and was raised to life on the third day for my Victory, I believe that in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Savior and Lord. I receive eternal life, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Do you Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour?
