Kingdom of Righteousness 4 Ever

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
1 Peter 5:6

Imagine for a moment that you are going about your normal day when suddenly you find yourself standing face to face with Jesus Christ.

There is no crowd, no noise, just you and Him. The One whose words shaped history, whose love transformed lives, and whose sacrifice changed eternity.

What would you ask Him?

Many people might immediately think of deep spiritual questions. Some would ask about heaven, eternity, or the mysteries of God. Others might ask personal questions about their life, purpose, or struggles.

1. Lord, Am i Truly Living the Life You Want for Me?

One of the most honest questions we could ask is whether we are truly living according to God’s will. In The Gospel of Matthew 7:21, Jesus warned that not everyone who calls Him “Lord” truly follows Him.

If Jesus stood before us, many of us would want to know if our faith is genuine and if our lives reflect His teachings.

2. What is My True Purpose?

People everywhere search for meaning. Careers, relationships, and achievements often leave us wondering if we are really fulfilling our calling.

Asking Jesus about our true purpose could reveal how we are meant to serve God and impact others.

3. How can i Grow Closer to You?

Even devoted believers sometimes feel spiritually distant. If we could speak directly to Jesus, we might ask how to deepen our relationship with Him.

The answer might remind us of the importance of prayer, love, humility, and obedience.

4. What Should i Change in My Life?

Meeting Jesus would likely make us examine our hearts. Are there habits, attitudes, or sins we are holding onto? Standing in His presence might prompt us to ask what needs to change so we can live a life that truly honors Him.

5. What does the Future Hold?

Many people would want to ask about the future, about the world, their family, or their own destiny. While the future often remains hidden, Jesus repeatedly taught His followers to trust God rather than fear tomorrow.

The Question That May Matter Most

But perhaps the most important question would simply be:

“Lord, do you truly know me as yours?”

In The Gospel of John 10:14, Jesus said, I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me. Knowing that we belong to Him is more valuable than any answer about the future.

A Moment that would Change Everything

If Jesus appeared before you today, the moment would not only be about the questions you ask, it would also be about the state of your heart.

Would you be ready to listen? Ready to change? Ready to follow Him wherever He leads?

Because one day, every person will stand before Him.

So the real question may not be what you would ask Jesus, but whether your life today reflects someone who is already walking with Him.
