Thanks to a recently leaked launch event poster, the rumored January 22 announcement date for the Samsung Galaxy S25 is looking all but certain.

This poster, shared by popular leaker Evan Blass, confirms the Galaxy Unpacked event for that date, with an “X” shape formed by what seems to be the corners of four phones. Considering the credibility of Blass and the authentic look of this poster, along with the rumors about the January 22 date, it seems that this will be the day the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will officially come out.

The design of the poster has, interestingly, sparked speculation. A few think that the “X” could refer to Bixby, Samsung’s digital assistant, which some rumor will get a big AI refresh on the Galaxy S25. Another suggests that the image teases the announcement of four devices: while the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are known quantities, a possible fourth is less clear.

This could be the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim, which is rumored for an April launch, or the Galaxy S25 FE, which hasn’t been heavily discussed and isn’t expected before January. Neither of these options seems very likely to be announced in January, so it’s possible Samsung might tease one of these models, or the speculation could simply be reading too much into the image.

But more than that, photos of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus have come to light – courtesy of @Jukanlosreve. The photos show off the phone from all angles and it really doesn’t look a whole lot different from the Galaxy S24 Plus.

If anything, the rings around the camera lenses appear to be blacker and everything else, including three rear lenses, a flat screen, and curved corners is the same. And, no – that’s not Apple’s Camera Control button on the edge, it’s just a 5G mmWave antenna.

Last but not least, Blass continued to detail some color options of the Galaxy S25 series. In particular, Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus will reportedly debut in various colors such as Blue Black, Coral Red, Icy Blue, Mint, Navy, Pink Gold, and Silver Shadow.

For Galaxy S25 Ultra, there is a theme with colors from Titanium, specifically Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Jade Green, among others.

While most of these colors line up with previous rumors, Blue Black is new and there’s no sign of the previously rumored Blue/Gold shade. Given Blass’s reliability, this is probably the final list of colors. All will be confirmed when Samsung officially takes the wraps off the Galaxy S25 lineup on January 22.
