the Einstein Forum is currently accepting applications for the Einstein Fellowship 2025 in Germany.
It is a highly competitive, fully funded fellowship that is open to best young minds under the age of 35 years old from around the world. No IELTS/TOEFL is required to apply.
About the Fellowship
The Einstein Fellowship, offered by the Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation, supports individuals interested in pursuing an out-of-the-ordinary project in a topic that is unrelated to existing research.
It is for individuals who exhibit exceptional intellectual abilities and cross-disciplinary thinking, with motivation drawn from the work of Albert Einstein.
Fellowship Duration & Benefits
The 5-6 months fellowship in Germany provides:
- Shelter in Einstein’s summer house in Caputh
- A living stipend of €10,000
- Reimbursement of travel costs
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Einstein Fellowship 2025, applicants should:
- Be under 35 years
- Hold a university degree in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences
- Submit a two-page project proposal with originality, feasibility, and quality
- Provide two letters of recommendation
- Not necessarily hold or be working towards a PhD
- Be prepared to share their project through a public talk at the Einstein Forum and Daimler and Benz Foundation toward the culmination of the fellowship
