Kingdom of Righteousness 4 Ever

What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”

Justin and Hailey Bieber are making it clear that they will not have gossip dictate their narrative. Justin shared a series of candid shots on Instagram on March 27, including one of Hailey standing in front of his home recording studio.

Dressed in an all-black outfit and vintage sunglasses, Hailey’s outfit was effortlessly cool—but what got everyone talking was her left hand.

In a brazen act, Hailey flipped the bird at the camera, wedding ring prominently displayed. The move seemed to be a response to continuous questioning and judgment of their marriage. She later reposted the image on her Instagram Story, reiterating their stance.

Justin had already played out his frustration with the rumors earlier. On March 21, he posted a screenshot of a 2019 Instagram post made by Hailey, captioning it, “Still relevant, boo.” In her post, Hailey had shared the moments she struggled with self-confidence and the harming impact of online hate.

“No matter how great life may appear on the outside, I struggle,” she had posted. “I’m insecure, I’m vulnerable, I’m hurting, I have fears, I have doubts, I have anxiety, I get sad, I get mad.”

She went on to explain the ways that social media consistently made her feel inadequate, speaking of, “I have had more days than I can count where I’ve spent my time on Instagram comparing myself, comparing how I look, feeling like I’m not enough.”

The message that resurfaced seemed to resonate with Justin, who exposed his own moment of vulnerability shortly later. On March 22, he posted a video of himself jamming and admitted he had been struggling with issues of self-esteem.

I guess I hate myself sometimes when I find myself becoming insincere,” he wrote. “Then I remember we’re all being led to think that we’re not good enough, but still I hate that I change myself for others.” That morning, also, he said, “I had anger issues too, but I wanna grow up and not be such a smh.”.

Since they tied the knot in 2018, Justin and Hailey haven’t been able to escape the public’s censure and rumors about their marriage. But notwithstanding the incessant gossip, recent social media uploads convey a straightforward message: they’re standing tall, together.
