AI Training for Igbo Writers

Remotasks is seeking Igbo writing experts to contribute to projects designed to improve the writing capabilities and accuracy of generative AI models. The work is fully remote and project-based, offering flexible hours that allow contributors to choose when they work.

What You’ll Do

As an AI Writing Contributor, you may work on a variety of tasks involving the Igbo language, including:

• Reviewing and ranking responses generated by AI models.
• Writing short stories or other content based on assigned topics.
• Evaluating AI-generated text for factual accuracy.
• Providing high-quality Igbo-language examples that help improve generative AI systems.
• Completing different writing and evaluation projects as they become available.

Preferred Qualifications

Formal qualifications are not mandatory, but candidates with relevant writing or language experience are encouraged to apply. Suitable backgrounds may include:

• Professional translation experience.
• Undergraduate studies or a completed degree in humanities, writing, or a related discipline.
• Graduate-level studies related to creative writing.
• Professional experience as a copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, or similar writing professional.
• Strong Igbo-language ability and good English proficiency.

Compensation

Pay: Up to $17 USD per hour.

Actual rates can vary according to the contributor’s country, expertise, experience, required skill set, and the specific stage of the project. Remotasks also notes that some activities, such as onboarding, may be compensated at a lower rate. Payments for ongoing projects are issued weekly.
