About the Role

HeyGen is seeking an experienced AI Video Creator who stays ahead of developments in generative video technology and has a strong portfolio demonstrating their creative abilities.

In this role, you will create engaging videos that showcase HeyGen’s capabilities, including platform demonstrations, marketing campaigns, social media content, and internal projects.

You will manage the entire production process, from initial concepts to final edits.

HeyGen and HyperFrames will serve as your primary production tools, supported by other leading AI models and technologies.

This is a full-time contractor position, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role based on performance. The position requires working from the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality AI-generated videos for marketing campaigns, internal projects, and platform demonstrations, using HeyGen avatars and HyperFrames as core production tools.
• Develop HyperFrames projects that produce consistent, editable video outputs, integrating HeyGen avatars, voiceovers, and translations to deliver polished final content.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MCPs and leading generative video platforms, including Veo, Sora, Seedance, Runway, Kling, Hailuo, Wan, and Pika. Understand each tool’s capabilities, limitations, and ideal applications.
• Develop sophisticated prompting strategies and multi-stage production workflows that consistently deliver realistic results. Create reusable prompt libraries for the team.
• Design attention-grabbing openings within the first three seconds and produce multiple creative variations for performance testing.
• Develop video concepts, shot lists, storyboards, and generation prompts, ensuring every project has a clear creative direction before production begins.
• Combine AI-generated footage with conventional editing tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut to add captions, subtitles, transitions, visual effects, basic color correction, and sound design.
• Adapt and export videos in appropriate formats and aspect ratios, including 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9, for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Continuously explore new AI models and HeyGen features, evaluate their performance, and transform discoveries into creative concepts and practical team resources.
• Monitor emerging short-form video trends, popular formats, and trending audio, quickly incorporating relevant ideas into new content.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• A strong visual sense and excellent storytelling abilities, with the capacity to create videos that communicate meaningful messages rather than simply showcase impressive visuals.
• Practical experience using HeyGen and HyperFrames, including the ability to take a project from an initial brief to a completed MP4 using HeyGen avatars and HyperFrames workflows.
• At least one year of AI video creation experience, whether professionally, as a freelancer, or through consistent personal projects, supported by a portfolio.
• An active creator presence with at least 10,000 followers on one or more platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, or X.
• Extensive knowledge of current generative video models and the ability to determine which tools are best suited to different creative requirements.
• Excellent prompting skills and an understanding of how language and technical parameters influence visual results across different AI architectures.
• Experience developing agent-powered video production workflows using tools such as HyperFrames Skills, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Gemini CLI.
• Practical knowledge of traditional video editing software, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut.

Compensation

Monthly Contractor Salary: $5,000–$10,000.
