- Identify potential fraud indicators, authentication results, synthetic media characteristics, and other relevant classification attributes.
- Maintain accurate and consistent annotations across large datasets, reviewing existing labels and correcting discrepancies where necessary.
- Identify ambiguous cases, document observations, and collaborate with Research Scientists to resolve classification challenges.
- Investigate audio and video interactions to identify background noise, audio quality issues, IVR process gaps, and unexpected model behaviour.
- Review interaction records and metadata to support customer inquiries, model evaluations, and research projects.
- Maintain detailed annotation records and summarise recurring patterns, inconsistencies, and findings to support research and model improvements.
- Handle sensitive audio, video, and interaction data in accordance with established privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements.

- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify inconsistencies, document findings, and escalate complex cases appropriately.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for organising and reviewing data.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
The following experience would be an advantage:
- Previous experience in data annotation, audio or video labelling, transcription, quality assurance, or qualitative data review.
- Familiarity with fraud detection, identity authentication, voice biometrics, trust and safety, or contact centre and IVR systems.
- Understanding of synthetic speech, replay attacks, deepfakes, or machine learning labelling tasks such as intent recognition and speech analysis.
- Experience using annotation platforms, structured review tools, or basic data-querying concepts such as SQL.
