Job Description

The CCTV Officer will be responsible for monitoring the restaurant’s surveillance systems to help maintain the safety and security of customers, employees, property, and business operations.

The successful candidate will continuously monitor CCTV footage, identify suspicious activities or security concerns, and respond appropriately to incidents.

The role requires a high level of attention, confidentiality, and the ability to accurately document and report security-related events.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance footage across the restaurant premises.
• Pay particular attention to high-risk areas, including entrances, exits, cash-handling points, and other sensitive locations.
• Identify suspicious activities, theft, violence, safety concerns, or other security incidents and promptly alert management when necessary.
• Assist with crime prevention by maintaining effective surveillance of the premises.
• Review and provide relevant CCTV footage and information when required for investigations.
• Document security incidents and prepare accurate reports for management or relevant authorities when necessary.
• Regularly check CCTV equipment to ensure cameras and monitoring systems are functioning properly.
• Monitor the quality of recorded footage and report or assist in resolving technical issues affecting surveillance operations.
• Ensure CCTV monitoring and handling of surveillance footage comply with applicable privacy requirements and company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding surveillance footage, investigations, and other sensitive security information.

Work Schedule

Chilis Restaurant operates 24 hours a day, with morning, afternoon, and night shifts. Applicants should therefore be prepared to work according to the assigned shift schedule.

Candidates who live in Bodija or surrounding areas of Ibadan will be given preference due to the nature of the shift-based role.
