Data Entry Officer
ScholarshipTab is an online scholarship platform that helps international students discover funding opportunities for their education.
The platform provides useful scholarship and university information to students looking to pursue their studies locally and internationally.
ScholarshipTab is currently looking for motivated young graduates to join its team and support the management, research, and updating of website content.
Important: This position focuses on website content management, online research, and data entry. It is not a Data Analytics or Data Science role.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the ScholarshipTab team, you will:
- Research universities and relevant educational information online.
- Enter accurate university information into the company’s online database.
- Review previously published university information and update outdated or incorrect details.
- Ensure website information is accurate, complete, and properly presented.
- Create engaging content for the company’s social media platforms.
- Perform additional data entry and administrative duties when required.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency when working with online information.
Requirements
Applicants should:
- Be fresh graduates with a BSc or HND qualification.
- Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
- Be comfortable using computers and common web-based applications.
- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and prevent errors.
- Be able to maintain concentration while handling repetitive or detailed tasks.
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Live within or close to Ago Palace, Lagos, for convenient commuting.
Work Schedule
This is an on-site position based in Lagos.
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
