Job Overview

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist – Remote (US) at Gainwell Technologies, you will play an essential role in supporting healthcare operations through the accurate entry, review, and verification of claims-related information.

This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing qualified candidates to work from anywhere within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and verify healthcare claims information, supporting documents, and medical records.
• Examine claims forms and related documentation to confirm that all information is complete, accurate, and consistent with established guidelines.
• Protect confidential healthcare records and sensitive member information by following applicable privacy and security procedures.
• Maintain required productivity, quality, and accuracy levels while completing assigned daily tasks.
• Work with multiple software platforms and Microsoft Office applications to support claims processing and overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least two years of experience in data entry, administrative assistance, claims processing, healthcare operations, or a related area.
• Excellent typing and data entry abilities, with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently, organize priorities, and handle multiple responsibilities effectively in a remote work environment.

What to Expect in This Position

• Fully remote employment available to qualified applicants residing anywhere in the United States.
• Standard working hours, generally Monday through Friday.
• Gainwell Technologies will provide the necessary work equipment.
• Video cameras are required during virtual interviews and throughout the first week of training.
• Applicants may be asked to complete a pre-employment skills evaluation covering typing speed, data entry, and accuracy.

Salary and Benefits

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $35,000–$50,000. Actual compensation may differ based on factors such as geographic location, internal pay considerations, relevant knowledge, professional skills, and previous experience.
