About the Role

Smart Working is seeking a Frontend-Focused Full Stack Developer (Angular / .NET) to contribute to an established recruitment platform that includes an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), career websites, and a job board used regularly by schools, trusts, and job candidates.

Rather than developing a completely new product, you will work with an existing live platform that already serves real users and generates active traffic.

One of the primary responsibilities of this position will be helping modernize the platform’s frontend architecture.

A significant portion of the existing system currently operates on AngularJS, and the company is progressively migrating the platform to Angular 21.

You will maintain existing AngularJS functionality while rebuilding and transferring features to the newer Angular environment.

You will also develop new functionality using Angular 21 and contribute to the platform’s broader development using .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC.

Although this position has a strong frontend emphasis, solid experience with backend .NET technologies is required.

Throughout the migration, you will help ensure that the live platform remains reliable, responsive, and stable. The modernization process will be completed progressively, making careful implementation and performance management important aspects of the role.
