About the Role
garden3d is looking for an experienced Product Designer to create thoughtful, intuitive, and visually refined digital experiences.
In this role, you’ll work closely with designers, developers, strategists, and clients to transform complex ideas and business requirements into products that are simple and enjoyable to use.
The work can span web applications, mobile experiences, digital platforms, websites, design systems, prototypes, and emerging technology products.
You’ll contribute throughout the product-design process, from early research and exploration to interaction design, prototyping, testing, and final production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and engaging experiences for web, mobile, and other digital products.
- Translate product requirements and user needs into clear user flows, wireframes, interfaces, and interactive prototypes.
- Participate in early-stage product discovery, research, ideation, and concept development.
- Develop user journeys and information architecture that simplify complex experiences.
- Produce polished, production-ready interface designs with strong attention to usability and visual quality.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable components.
- Create interactive prototypes to communicate ideas and validate product decisions.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Work with strategists, developers, clients, and other designers throughout the complete product lifecycle.
- Present design concepts and clearly communicate the reasoning behind product and UX decisions.
- Incorporate feedback from users, clients, and team members into subsequent design iterations.
- Balance user needs, business objectives, technical requirements, and creative ambition when making design decisions.
- Review implemented products and provide feedback to maintain a high level of design quality.
- Contribute to design critiques and help strengthen the overall creative output of the studio.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or a closely related discipline.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital product work and thoughtful problem-solving.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and contemporary product-design tools.
- Strong understanding of user experience, interaction design, responsive design, information architecture, and usability principles.
- Experience developing wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and polished interface designs.
- Strong understanding of design systems, components, and scalable interface patterns.
- Ability to work effectively with developers and understand the practical considerations involved in implementing designs.
- Excellent visual-design skills, including typography, spacing, hierarchy, layout, and composition.
- Ability to explain design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to independently manage responsibilities while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-moving creative environment.
What Makes a Strong Candidate
garden3d is interested in designers who combine creative thinking with practical product problem-solving.
You should be curious about how people interact with technology and capable of looking beyond attractive interfaces to understand the underlying user experience.
Strong candidates can move comfortably between broad product concepts and detailed interface decisions. You should be willing to experiment, receive feedback, challenge assumptions, and refine ideas until the product reaches a high standard.
Experience working with startups, creative studios, digital agencies, emerging technologies, or design-led product teams would be particularly valuable.
