Responsibilities

– Operate and maintain kitchen cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines, handwashing stations, pot-washing facilities, and waste equipment.
– Wash, sanitize, and maintain kitchen and storage areas, work surfaces, tables, utensils, knives, and other equipment.
– Receive incoming deliveries and ensure perishable products are stored correctly.
– Assist with proper stock rotation and organization.
– Ensure clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen items are stored in their designated locations.
– Inspect cleaned items to ensure they meet hygiene and cleanliness standards.
– Return inadequately cleaned items for additional washing or scrubbing when necessary.
– Clean and mop designated kitchen and departmental areas.
– Help maintain a safe, hygienic, and organized working environment.
– Follow all applicable company health, safety, security, and operational procedures.
– Protect hotel property, equipment, and other company assets.
– Maintain positive and professional relationships with colleagues.
