Live Chat Support Specialist
We are seeking Live Chat Support Specialists to provide fast, professional, and helpful customer support across multiple client accounts.
In this fully remote role, you will engage with customers in real time, answer questions, resolve concerns, and guide them toward the right solutions.
The position is ideal for someone with excellent written communication skills, a friendly and professional approach, and the ability to manage several conversations efficiently.
Compensation ranges from $350–$650 per month, paid in USD, in line with RemoteTask Online’s global compensation structure for remote professionals.
Who You Are
- Able to type at least 50 words per minute (WPM) with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong written English skills with a friendly, clear, and professional communication style.
- Comfortable managing 3–5 live chat conversations at the same time.
- A quick thinker who can locate information and provide effective solutions promptly.
- Familiar with customer support platforms such as Intercom, LiveChat, or Zendesk Chat.
- Previous experience in live chat support, customer service, or a related role is an advantage.
Requirements
- Handle multiple live chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Respond to customer questions and provide clear information about products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints during the initial interaction whenever possible.
- Use prepared responses, templates, and macros efficiently while keeping conversations natural and personalized.
- Recognize potential sales opportunities and guide customers toward suitable products or services without being overly pushy.
- Escalate complex or specialized inquiries to the appropriate team, providing complete context for a smooth handover.
