Position Summary
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of the company’s transportation and delivery operations.
The successful candidate will ensure that goods are delivered accurately and on schedule while maintaining efficient fleet utilization and compliance with relevant transportation and safety regulations.
The role also involves supervising logistics personnel, maintaining operational documentation, and implementing measures to improve the efficiency of supply chain and distribution activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate delivery schedules and transportation routes to ensure timely distribution of goods.
- Supervise, train, and assess the performance of drivers and dispatch riders.
- Monitor fleet conditions, vehicle maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption.
- Coordinate the loading and offloading of goods while ensuring proper handling and accurate documentation.
- Ensure all transportation activities comply with applicable regulations and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, including delivery logs, fleet reports, fuel usage records, and incident reports.
- Investigate and resolve delivery delays, customer complaints, and transportation-related issues.
- Develop and recommend strategies to improve logistics operations, delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
B.Sc. or HND in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
4–5 years of relevant experience in logistics or transportation operations, including experience in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of transportation regulations, route planning, fleet operations, and vehicle management.
Skills & Competencies

- Good knowledge of route planning and optimization.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics tracking tools.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and consistently meet delivery targets.
