The Role

Are you passionate about exceptional coffee, creative design, and transforming ideas into impactful visual experiences?

Pact Coffee are looking for a talented, full-time Midweight Graphic Designer to join our Brand and Communications team.

Following significant growth over the past few years, we have introduced an updated brand identity and enhanced the customer experience across our digital and physical platforms.

We are now looking for a creative professional who can help bring this identity to life consistently across every customer touchpoint.

Working closely with our Lead Designer, you will transform creative briefs from different departments into distinctive designs that reflect the Pact brand.

Your work will span a variety of formats, including email campaigns, social media content, product packaging, and event materials.

You should be someone who brings fresh perspectives to projects, responds positively to feedback, and continually looks for opportunities to improve the quality and impact of your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage creative briefs from different departments and produce engaging visual content across our website, digital advertising, packaging, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Designer to translate brand direction, marketing objectives, and creative strategies into high-quality design solutions.
  • Develop professional, print-ready artwork for packaging, branding, and marketing materials, including large-format graphics, point-of-sale displays, coffee labels, and promotional cards.
  • Contribute original ideas, creative concepts, and exceptional attention to detail to every design project.
  • Assist with developing photography briefs and participate in photography and video production sessions.
  • Edit, retouch, and prepare photographs during post-production to ensure they meet the brand’s visual standards across all channels.
  • Maintain well-organised design files, templates, and master brand assets for easy access and collaboration.
  • Represent and promote the Pact brand positively, both within the organisation and in external interactions.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

You may be a great fit for this position if you:

  • Have 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, either within an agency or an in-house creative team.
  • Have experience working with FMCG brands, particularly in branding, packaging design, and visual identity development.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Understand print production processes and have experience preparing accurate, production-ready artwork.
  • Have experience using at least one motion design application to produce engaging GIFs and video content.
  • Are comfortable exploring AI-powered tools to simplify repetitive design tasks and improve efficiency, while maintaining original human creativity and craftsmanship.
  • Are enthusiastic, proactive, and consistently bring fresh creative ideas to the team.
  • Go beyond simply completing assigned briefs by identifying opportunities to improve creative outcomes and discussing your ideas with colleagues.
  • Accept constructive feedback, apply suggestions effectively, and use each project as an opportunity to develop your skills.
  • Possess strong problem-solving abilities, combining creative thinking with commercial awareness.
  • Remain organised, composed, and productive when managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Enjoy collaborating with a close-knit team and are always willing to contribute wherever needed.
  • Have coffee preparation or photography skills (an advantage, although training and development opportunities are available).

This is an exciting opportunity to influence how a growing coffee brand connects with customers. Your designs will feature on product packaging delivered to homes, at industry events, across social media, and in kitchens throughout the UK.

You will have the opportunity to work with an established, refreshed brand identity, supported by clear creative guidelines, an experienced team, and plenty of room for professional development.

Interested in joining us? Submit your CV and explain why you would be a strong candidate for the position. Please also include a link to your design portfolio and at least one relevant project that demonstrates how your experience and creative approach align with the Pact brand.
