Coalition Technologies is seeking a talented and detail-focused Remote Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor to produce engaging visual content for the company and its clients.

This position involves creating promotional videos, animated advertisements, short-form social media content, and a variety of motion graphics for digital marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

As a Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor, you will be responsible for producing compelling video and animated content across multiple digital channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating promotional videos for Coalition Technologies and its clients
  • Producing videos and animated banners for online advertising campaigns
  • Editing short-form content for Instagram Stories, Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and similar platforms
  • Designing text animations, logo animations, character animations, and other motion graphics
  • Creating visual content for websites, email campaigns, advertisements, and other digital media
  • Working from creative briefs, scripts, footage, design assets, and client instructions
  • Developing original video concepts and preparing scripts or storyboards when required
  • Participating in client meetings when necessary
  • Working with Digital Producers to develop video and animation strategies aligned with client objectives
  • Collaborating with graphic designers, copywriters, PPC specialists, and other creative and marketing professionals
  • Ensuring content is visually engaging while also supporting advertising and marketing performance
  • Exporting and encoding videos in the appropriate formats
  • Uploading completed content to relevant media platforms and digital channels
  • Keeping up with developments in video production, animation, storytelling, social media, and motion design
  • Completing assignments within established deadlines while maintaining company quality standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

Successful candidates should demonstrate strong creative and technical abilities in video production and motion graphics.

Key requirements include:

  • Demonstrated experience in motion graphics and video editing
  • Strong proficiency with professional video editing software
  • Ability to develop and produce short-form promotional videos from concept through completion
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Ability to create videos and animations for advertising, social media, and digital marketing campaigns
  • Access to your own camera, lighting equipment, and an appropriate space for independently recording video
  • Ability to record voice narration when required
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle short deadlines
  • Professional presentation and client communication skills
  • Availability for a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
  • A reliable workstation with a computer capable of handling professional video editing
  • Reliable microphone, speakers, internet connection, and electricity

Salary

For applicants located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, the advertised starting base compensation is:

$17–$35 per hour

At 40 hours per week, this is approximately $35,360–$72,800 per year before bonuses or other compensation.

Final pay may depend on experience, qualifications, skills assessment results, location, and the seniority level of the position offered.

Candidates located outside California, New York, Washington, and Colorado may receive compensation outside this stated range.
