About the Role
Netflix is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead its Asset Personalization Platform team, driving the development of scalable distributed systems that deliver personalized entertainment experiences to members worldwide.
The Netflix user interface features a wide range of content assets, including promotional artwork, trailers, descriptions, and other metadata that help members discover and select what to watch.
These elements provide valuable information about recommended movies, TV shows, games, and other content, helping users make informed entertainment choices.
Netflix takes personalization further by tailoring these assets to individual viewing preferences. This ensures that every member receives the most relevant artwork, trailers, and content information based on their interests.
As Netflix continues expanding its global catalog across movies, television, games, and live programming, we are investing in a scalable technology platform capable of supporting the unique asset requirements of different content formats.
The Asset Personalization Platform team builds high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems that deliver personalized content assets to Netflix applications in real time.
