Impact and Why This Role Matters
Many students struggle with feeling overlooked, disconnected, or uncertain about their academic abilities. These challenges may arise from distance, personal circumstances, or a lack of confidence.
In this position, you will become a dependable source of encouragement, guidance, and support throughout their educational journey.
Your daily interactions, personalized video feedback, proactive communication, and timely academic interventions can help students regain confidence, overcome obstacles, improve their understanding, and recognize their potential.
Your contribution will help learners remain focused on graduation and prepare for successful futures, whether they pursue higher education, technical training, professional certifications, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, or careers that reflect their individual interests and abilities.
This is more than a traditional teaching position. It is an opportunity to shape lives through modern education by providing personalized, high-quality support that empowers students to take ownership of their learning and future.
Purpose of the Position
You will play an essential role in encouraging curiosity, strengthening confidence, and helping students develop the skills and knowledge needed for lifelong success.
Your responsibility is to identify opportunities to support learners, promote individual achievement, and create meaningful educational experiences through consistent engagement, clear communication, and dependable guidance.
By providing attentive, personalized support, you will help students and families overcome challenges and achieve important academic milestones.
Role Overview
This is a highly interactive, student-focused position that requires strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
You will communicate with students regularly through phone calls, text messages, live chat, Zoom, and email while helping them navigate a structured academic curriculum.
Performance will be evaluated through measurable indicators, including student engagement, academic progress, course completion, and the effectiveness of interventions.
Equally important is your ability to help students overcome setbacks, develop confidence, stay on track toward graduation, and become independent learners.
The position requires accountability, prompt communication, consistent follow-through, and a positive attitude. Your ability to remain engaged and responsive will directly influence how supported and motivated students feel.
Core Responsibilities
- Establish meaningful daily relationships with students through proactive communication, encouragement, and personalized support to improve participation and prevent disengagement.
- Help students navigate their assigned curriculum, explain important concepts, and reinforce subject knowledge to support academic achievement.
- Regularly monitor student participation and academic performance, identify learners experiencing difficulties, and provide timely interventions to help them regain momentum.
- Grade assignments promptly and deliver constructive, personalized feedback that recognizes progress, strengthens confidence, and helps students overcome learning challenges.
Essential Duties
- Provide exceptional support to students, families, and colleagues through professionalism, honesty, humility, and a commitment to personalized service.
- Monitor student participation and academic performance daily, identifying potential challenges and responding quickly with appropriate assistance.
- Build positive relationships through dependable communication across multiple channels, ensuring students and families receive consistent support throughout the school day.
- Help students understand and master course content through clear explanations, different teaching approaches, and constructive encouragement.
- Complete grading responsibilities promptly and provide meaningful feedback that promotes academic improvement and continued development.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of student performance, communication, and support interventions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to strengthen student outcomes and support wider organizational objectives.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development programs, and training sessions to improve teaching effectiveness.
- Deliver instruction according to the approved curriculum, learning schedule, and supplied educational resources. Focus on effective teaching rather than independently developing new course materials or introducing external resources.
- Facilitate live instructional sessions when assigned, maintaining student engagement and using the approved learning materials.
- Assist with examination supervision and assessment monitoring when required, including occasional travel to designated testing locations.
- Perform additional responsibilities as necessary to support the company’s educational mission.

- Work full-time in an exempt position, committing at least 40 hours per week and maintaining consistent attention throughout scheduled working hours.
- Remain accessible and responsive during the workday through phone, chat, Zoom, email, and internal communication platforms to support students, parents, and colleagues.
- Avoid engaging in other employment or professional activities during scheduled working hours. Any additional employment must not affect job performance and requires prior written approval.
- Maintain a private, professional, and interruption-free home office with dependable high-speed internet suitable for video communication and other required applications.
- Maintain reliable attendance and daily availability. Absences lasting more than two consecutive instructional days can significantly affect student engagement and academic support and are generally difficult to accommodate during the academic term.
