About the Role
Strongpoint Partners is looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to support its corporate brand and a national network of more than 25 Partner brands.
This is more than a traditional production design position. You will take ownership of the company’s advisor-facing sales collateral program while creating high-quality sales, marketing, brand, and digital assets across multiple brands.
You will work directly with Partner Presidents, sales representatives, financial advisors, and marketing leaders to understand their objectives and translate them into effective visual communication.
A major part of the position involves developing and expanding an existing tiered sales collateral program. You will help define the service, improve its processes and deliverables, and scale it across the broader Partner network.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable presenting creative ideas to senior stakeholders and working hands-on in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and PowerPoint.
This position can be performed fully remotely from anywhere in the United States or on a hybrid basis from the company’s Chicago office. Candidates from all U.S. time zones are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Collateral Program
Take ownership of the advisor-facing sales collateral program, establishing clear service tiers, deliverables, turnaround expectations, and quality standards.
Work with Marketing, Sales, and Partner leadership to introduce and expand the program across additional Partner firms and financial advisors.
Monitor program usage, delivery, and revenue while providing performance updates to Marketing leadership.
Work directly with advisors and Partner leaders to define project requirements, establish timelines, and ensure expectations are clear from the beginning.
Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
Serve as a primary creative contact for Partner Presidents, sales teams, and financial advisors.
Translate business objectives and stakeholder requirements into clear and effective creative solutions.
Present concepts and completed designs to senior stakeholders, respond thoughtfully to feedback, and explain design decisions when necessary.
Develop strong working relationships with financial advisors and other important business partners while maintaining the high level of service expected across the organization.
Design & Creative Execution
Create professional sales materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, proposals, welcome kits, and other digital collateral.
Develop digital marketing materials for social media, email campaigns, websites, online advertising, and other digital channels.
Produce branded materials for conferences, recruiting initiatives, events, and exhibitions, including signage, booth graphics, merchandise, and printed collateral.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Partner leadership to maintain a consistent and professional brand experience across all communications.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 8+ years of professional graphic design experience, including experience managing creative work across multiple brands or business units.
You should have experience working directly with clients or senior stakeholders, including defining project requirements, presenting creative work, gathering feedback, and independently managing professional relationships.
A strong portfolio demonstrating experience with sales collateral, digital marketing, social media graphics, email design, and other commercial creative work is required.
Advanced proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma is expected.
Candidates should also have advanced PowerPoint design skills, particularly experience developing reusable presentation templates that can be effectively used by non-designers.
Additional requirements include experience maintaining brand guidelines or design systems, strong knowledge of print and digital production standards, and the ability to manage projects from initial concept through final delivery.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are also required.
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Experience developing or scaling creative service programs, including defining services, pricing, project scopes, or standardized design offerings, would be valuable.
Additional preferred skills include video editing and motion graphics experience using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Experience with Canva, HubSpot, and Squarespace, as well as photography and professional photo editing, is considered an advantage.
Candidates with experience supporting multi-brand organizations and those who demonstrate adaptability, curiosity, creative problem-solving, and a willingness to learn from subject-matter experts are particularly well suited to the role.
