About the Role
Quora is looking for an experienced Senior Customer Success Manager to work closely with advertisers and help them achieve stronger results through the company’s advertising platform.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of advertising customers, serving as a strategic advisor and primary point of contact. You will use campaign data, platform knowledge, performance metrics, and creative insights to identify opportunities, solve problems, and help customers improve their advertising results.
This is more than a traditional account-management position. The role requires someone who can understand customer objectives, analyze campaign performance, recommend practical improvements, and confidently challenge clients when a different strategy may produce better outcomes.
You will work closely with advertisers, agencies, sales teams, product managers, and other internal stakeholders to deliver a strong customer experience while contributing to revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Independently manage a portfolio of advertising clients.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with advertisers and agency partners.
- Provide strategic recommendations designed to improve campaign performance and increase account revenue.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and help customers scale successful advertising programs.
- Monitor campaign delivery and investigate performance or technical issues.
- Respond to customer questions and coordinate solutions when problems arise.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and campaign wrap-up presentations.
- Conduct regular client meetings and account check-ins.
- Analyze campaign data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Translate performance information into clear recommendations for customers.
- Share successful strategies, insights, and best practices with internal teams and clients.
- Track and forecast important account metrics for business planning and revenue projections.
- Work collaboratively with sales, product, and other teams to improve customer outcomes.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of experience managing advertising campaigns on the client or publisher side.
- Experience with search, social, performance, or direct-response advertising campaigns.
- A proven history of managing enterprise-level customers.
- Strong hands-on experience executing, optimizing, and planning digital advertising campaigns.
- Experience working with clients and stakeholders across the North American market.
- Excellent verbal, written, and active-listening skills.
- The confidence to communicate with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- The ability to provide strategic advice while respectfully challenging customer decisions when appropriate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to investigate technical or account-related issues and coordinate their resolution.
- The ability to turn campaign analytics into practical business recommendations.
- A self-directed approach with the initiative to identify problems and take action without constant supervision.
- The ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving and collaborative environment.
Preferred Experience
The following would be an advantage:
- Experience using Salesforce.
- Familiarity with Apollo.io or similar sales and customer-management platforms.
- Experience managing paid advertising campaigns through platforms such as:
- Meta
- Previous experience working in an advertising agency, sales, account management, or customer-success environment.
