Job Overview

Beckley Consulting Limited are looking for a creative, proactive and performance-focused Social Media Officer to manage and strengthen its presence across various digital platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing online communities, improving brand visibility and supporting the company’s broader marketing and communication initiatives.

This position requires someone who understands how to use social media strategically to build engagement and strengthen a brand’s digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop and schedule engaging content for the company’s social media channels.
• Manage day-to-day activities across the company’s social media accounts.
• Respond professionally and promptly to comments, messages and online enquiries.
• Develop and execute social media campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and audience engagement.
• Monitor emerging social media trends and recommend new approaches for improving the company’s digital presence.
• Produce basic graphics, short-form videos and other digital materials for marketing campaigns.
• Monitor social media metrics and prepare reports on engagement, reach, growth and overall content performance.
• Work closely with relevant internal teams to promote company services, products, events and other activities.
• Maintain consistency with the company’s brand identity, tone and communication standards across all published content.
• Carry out other related responsibilities when required.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Digital Marketing or another relevant discipline.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience managing social media accounts for a company, organization or established brand.

The ideal candidate should also have:

• Strong working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and X (formerly Twitter).
• Experience using content creation and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express or similar applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• An understanding of social media analytics, reporting and content performance measurement.
• Strong creativity and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage responsibilities independently within a hybrid working arrangement.
• Residence in Isolo or a nearby part of Lagos.
