About the Role
Camunda is hiring a Technical Customer Success Manager to combine strategic customer relationship management with hands-on technical expertise.
The position brings together responsibilities commonly associated with a Customer Success Manager and a Technical Account Manager.
Working within a pooled team model, you will support a diverse portfolio of customers and apply your technical knowledge to help them maximize the value of Camunda’s platform.
You will act as a trusted advisor throughout customers’ process orchestration journeys. This involves understanding their business objectives, technical infrastructure, stakeholders, and implementation requirements before developing recommendations that support successful adoption.
Your goal will be to help customers achieve measurable outcomes, improve their orchestration maturity, and realize the long-term value of their investment in Camunda.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify important customer stakeholders and maintain accurate contact information to support effective communication and engagement.
- Help new customers complete their initial product setup and successfully adopt relevant Camunda features.
- Accelerate customer time-to-value by providing appropriate technical and strategic guidance.
- Understand each customer’s business objectives, use cases, stakeholders, technical environment, and measures of success.
- Develop tailored customer success plans based on individual requirements and expected outcomes.
- Encourage product adoption and help customers advance their process orchestration capabilities.
- Apply Camunda’s established frameworks, methodologies, and playbooks when supporting customer initiatives.
- Provide strategic and technical recommendations throughout customer projects.
- Work closely with Consulting, Support, Engineering, and other internal teams to address technical or product-related challenges.
- Help customers identify risks, overcome implementation challenges, and maintain progress toward their objectives.
Required Experience and Skills
- Approximately 2–3 years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, or a comparable technical customer-facing role.
- Strong working knowledge of software development concepts, cloud computing, and DevOps.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complicated technical concepts clearly.
- Confidence communicating with both technical specialists and business stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend software solutions that align with their business and technical needs.
- Comfortable managing conversations involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional consideration may be given to candidates with:
- Experience working with enterprise technology architectures.
- Knowledge of modern solution architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CKA, CKAD, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or comparable cloud and infrastructure credentials.
- Experience managing complex customer projects.
- Ability to document and track customer use cases, milestones, risks, project objectives, and KPIs.
- Experience using customer and project data to identify opportunities for proactive engagement.
Compensation
Camunda provides transparent and competitive compensation. New employees are generally hired within the first half of the published salary range, leaving room for compensation growth as they develop within the organization.
Annual Total Cash Compensation — including base salary plus 100% variable compensation where applicable:
United States: $121,400 – $195,700 per year
United Kingdom: £76,200 – £125,400 per year
Singapore: S$150,800 – S$226,100 per year
Candidates located in other countries may be employed through Camunda’s global employment partner, Remote.com. A Talent Acquisition Partner will provide a personalized Total Rewards calculation following the first interview.
Eligible employees may also receive equity through Camunda’s Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP).
