Role Overview

Singing Machine®  are looking for a creative, energetic, and socially savvy TikTok Content Creator to produce engaging video content that showcases our karaoke products in fun, relatable, and authentic ways.

The ideal candidate understands Gen Z culture, knows how to capture attention on TikTok, and can transform everyday moments into entertaining content.

Rather than relying on traditional advertising or overly polished promotional videos, we want someone who can create natural, spontaneous, and personality-driven content that connects with audiences and makes karaoke appealing to a wider generation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Content Creation: Plan, record, and produce approximately 10 engaging TikTok videos per month featuring our karaoke products in entertaining, relatable, and creative scenarios. Video content will primarily be filmed using an iPhone.

2. Creative Concept Development: Come up with fresh and innovative video ideas that present karaoke as an exciting social activity for friends, parties, gatherings, and everyday entertainment, extending its appeal beyond traditional family audiences.

3. Authentic Content Production: Capture genuine, unscripted, and spontaneous moments using creative filming techniques, including street interviews, public interactions, reactions, challenges, and candid social experiences.

4. TikTok Trends and Engagement: Monitor emerging TikTok trends, viral formats, sounds, challenges, and audience interests, incorporating relevant trends into content strategies to increase visibility, engagement, and reach.

5. Brand Representation: Showcase Singing Machine® products naturally and creatively, highlighting their features and entertainment value without making videos feel like conventional advertisements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience (Preferred, Not Required): 1–2 years of experience creating engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar social media platforms.
• Authenticity: Ability to create natural, entertaining, and relatable videos that connect with viewers without appearing overly promotional or professionally staged.
• Creativity: Strong storytelling abilities, original thinking, and the capacity to develop engaging concepts that appeal to diverse audiences, particularly Gen Z.
• Social Media Knowledge: Good understanding of TikTok culture, trending content formats, viral challenges, and audience engagement strategies.
• Filming Skills: Comfortable recording and producing quality video content using an iPhone or similar smartphone.
• Communication Skills: Confidence in capturing real-life interactions, conducting casual interviews, and creating engaging social experiences.
