Travel Consultant III at BCD Travel

This is a part-time remote position requiring 16–23 hours per week. The work schedule includes both Saturdays and Sundays, as well as some public holidays.

Shifts may vary and can include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight hours, depending on business needs. Please note that this position is not eligible for employee benefits.

As a Travel Consultant III, you will serve as a key representative of BCD Travel, communicating with existing and prospective clients to help them make informed travel decisions and manage their journeys efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Research, arrange, and confirm travel reservations based on clients’ needs.
• Understand client travel policies and provide appropriate guidance to ensure compliance.
• Assist clients with travel regulations and requirements, including TSA and DOT guidelines, passports, and visas.
• Provide relevant travel information, including available fares, ticket exchange costs, and applicable penalties.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational procedures and strengthen client relationships by recommending practical solutions.
• Keep your industry knowledge current and share relevant updates across the travel sectors you support.

What You’ll Bring

• Extensive professional experience as a travel agent or travel consultant.
• Advanced proficiency in the Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A solid understanding of travel industry policies, procedures, and operational processes.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Compensation and Additional Opportunities

The advertised hourly pay range for this position in applicable US jurisdictions is $21.65–$27.64, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

Work Schedule: Candidates must be flexible, as shifts may include daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday hours based on operational requirements.
