Vehicle Detailer

We’re looking for a Car Detailer to help ensure every vehicle moving through our onboarding process is cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest possible standard.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, works well as part of a team, and is eager to develop their automotive detailing skills.

About the Role

As a Car Detailer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior condition of incoming vehicles.

Your work will help ensure every car meets Clutch’s quality standards before progressing through reconditioning or becoming available for sale.

You’ll work closely with other members of the operations team to keep vehicles in excellent condition while supporting an efficient and organized workflow.

What You’ll Do

• Pressure wash and shampoo vehicle exteriors
• Steam clean, extract, and vacuum vehicle interiors
• Polish and remove minor swirl marks and scratches
• Dress tires and maintain exterior finishes
• Monitor detailing supplies, equipment, and tools
• Help identify opportunities to improve detailing processes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to keep vehicle preparation running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Genuine interest in the automotive industry
• Willingness to learn and develop automotive detailing skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• A team-oriented attitude and dependable work ethic
• Valid G2 or G driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
• Ability to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including overtime when required
• Post-secondary education is considered an asset

Nice to Have

• Previous automotive detailing experience
• Comfortable driving vehicles with manual transmission
