Virtual Receptionist
Seeking a professional and dependable Virtual Receptionists to provide front-line communication support to businesses across a variety of industries.
In this role, you will often be the first person customers, clients, and other callers interact with, so clear communication, professionalism, and a welcoming attitude are essential.
This is a fully remote opportunity well suited to organised individuals who are comfortable handling phone conversations, managing appointments, responding to general inquiries, and keeping accurate records.
What Your Workday May Look Like
Your day will typically begin by signing into the company’s secure online portal, reviewing assigned tasks, and preparing to handle incoming communications.
You will answer calls professionally, determine the reason for each call, and direct callers to the appropriate person or department when necessary.
When someone is unavailable, you will take clear and accurate messages and ensure they reach the appropriate team member promptly.
You may also coordinate appointments, update calendars, respond to routine customer questions, and maintain call or contact records.
Much of the work is independently managed. You may receive daily or weekly performance targets and will be expected to organise your workload effectively while maintaining established service and quality standards.
Your work will involve common office applications alongside the company’s internal communication and management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Route calls to the appropriate team member or department
- Record detailed and accurate messages and forward them promptly
- Schedule appointments and coordinate calendar bookings for multiple clients
- Provide callers with general information about the businesses you support
- Respond to routine customer questions and concerns calmly and professionally
- Maintain accurate call logs, notes, and customer contact records
- Update relevant databases and internal systems as required
- Follow client-specific instructions and communication procedures
- Maintain a consistently positive caller experience
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who can remain professional and composed throughout the working day.
Because much of the position involves direct telephone communication, you should have a clear speaking voice and strong English communication skills.
You should also be comfortable working independently, recording information accurately, and managing several responsibilities without losing important details.

Previous experience is helpful but not necessarily required, as structured training is provided to help successful candidates become familiar with the role and internal processes.
Training & Onboarding
Successful candidates will complete a structured two-week onboarding programme supported by a dedicated mentor.
Week 1 – Introduction and Guided Training
During your first week, you will become familiar with the company’s internal systems, communication procedures, workflows, and team practices.
You will complete supervised practice assignments and receive real-time guidance and feedback.
Week 2 – Live Task Experience
During the second week, you will begin handling live responsibilities with reduced supervision.
Your work will be reviewed against established quality standards, and you will complete a proficiency assessment to demonstrate your readiness for regular assignments.
Ongoing Development
After onboarding, team members receive regular quality scorecards, monthly performance reviews, and access to additional training resources designed to support continued professional development.
All required training is paid. You will receive appropriate instruction and guidance before being expected to perform unfamiliar tasks independently.
