About the Role
Atticor Group LLC is seeking a Web Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performing landing pages and websites that support client acquisition across its portfolio of national legal brands.
This is primarily a front-end development position, with responsibility for the appearance, functionality, speed, and conversion performance of the company’s digital platforms.
Working directly within the marketing team rather than a traditional engineering department, you will develop and launch pages quickly, test them against live advertising campaigns, and measure their effectiveness through conversion rates and cost per signed case.
The ideal candidate combines excellent front-end development skills with a strong understanding of digital marketing performance.
You should be someone who can collaborate effectively with designers and media buyers while delivering visually polished, high-converting web experiences.
Although full-stack development experience is an advantage, the primary focus is front-end expertise.
This is a full-time, remote position reporting to the Director of Marketing. The annual base salary ranges from $140,000 to $160,000, depending on experience.
The position also offers eligibility for a discretionary year-end bonus and additional employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-converting landing pages: Design and build multiple campaign landing pages each week using Unbounce and custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript across different brands and legal practice areas.
- Manage and improve brand websites: Create new pages, templates, and website features using WordPress and custom themes.
- Execute A/B testing: Develop alternative page versions, collaborate with media buyers on testing strategies, and improve performance based on campaign results.
- Optimize website performance: Maintain strong Core Web Vitals scores, particularly on mobile devices, by optimizing images, scripts, fonts, and third-party integrations.
- Implement conversion tracking: Configure Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, and server-side conversion events while ensuring tracking parameters such as UTMs and click IDs remain intact throughout form submissions.
- Convert designs into functional websites: Transform Figma designs, visual mockups, and project briefs into polished, responsive, and accessible web pages.
- Develop reusable components: Build templates, component libraries, and development standards that improve efficiency and accelerate future projects.
- Leverage AI development tools: Use technologies such as Claude Code to speed up development while maintaining high standards for code quality and reliability.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least four years of professional experience developing production websites and landing pages, supported by a portfolio of live projects.
- Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, with the ability to build responsive websites from scratch without relying on a framework.
- Strong visual design judgment, including an understanding of typography, spacing, layouts, and visual hierarchy.
- Practical experience with landing page platforms such as Unbounce, Instapage, Webflow, or similar tools.
- Experience developing and customizing WordPress themes, including PHP templates, custom fields, and hooks.
- A mobile-first development approach and demonstrated ability to optimize websites for Lighthouse scores and Core Web Vitals.
- Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Experience developing and troubleshooting web forms, including validation, hidden fields, spam protection, and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization, including conducting A/B tests and evaluating performance outcomes.
- Familiarity with Git and standard website deployment workflows.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to turn project requirements into functional landing pages within one or two days.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with non-technical teams, including designers, media buyers, attorneys, and client intake professionals.
Additional Advantages
- Full-stack development experience with Node.js, Next.js, React, REST APIs, SQL, Supabase, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of server-side tracking solutions, including Meta Conversions API, Google Enhanced Conversions, and server-side Google Tag Manager.
- Previous experience in legal services, healthcare, financial services, or other regulated industries with significant lead-generation requirements.
- Figma proficiency or design capabilities that allow you to independently create and develop website pages without requiring a dedicated designer.
