About the Role Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Workday Middleware Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain integrations connecting Workday with applications and systems across the enterprise environment. This is a 100% remote, full-time W2 position in the United States. The role is highly hands-on and focuses on developing reliable Workday integrations using technologies such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday APIs. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Workday’s tenant architecture and security framework, along with the ability to develop structured, maintainable integrations suitable for production environments. Key Responsibilities As a Workday Middleware Engineer, you will: – Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations between Workday and other enterprise applications. – Build integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect. – Develop and maintain integrations utilizing Workday REST and SOAP APIs. – Create structured and maintainable Workday Studio orchestrations. – Use XSLT to transform and manage data exchanged between Workday and connected platforms. – Monitor integration reliability, security, performance, and data quality. – Troubleshoot integration failures and resolve complex technical issues. – Work with Workday’s data model, tenant configurations, and security architecture. – Configure and work with Integration System Users (ISU) and Integration System Security Groups (ISSG). – Develop calculated fields and custom reports when required to support integrations. – Review technical designs and code to maintain strong engineering standards. – Help improve development practices and integration architecture. – Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-experienced engineers. Cross-Functional Collaboration You will work closely with teams across product, engineering, design, operations, and other business functions. A key part of the role involves translating complex or initially unclear business requirements into well-designed technical solutions. The successful candidate should therefore combine strong engineering expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities. Required Qualifications Candidates should have: – A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. – At least 5 years of Workday integration development experience. – Strong hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors. – Advanced knowledge of XSLT and Workday Studio orchestration. – Practical experience working with Workday REST and SOAP APIs. – Strong understanding of Workday’s data model and tenant configuration. – Experience with the Workday security framework, including ISU and ISSG patterns. – Familiarity with calculated fields and custom report development. – Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting capabilities. – Excellent written and verbal communication skills. – Ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other partners. Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of XSLT, including experience developing and maintaining Workday Studio orchestrations.
  • Practical experience integrating systems through Workday REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Strong understanding of the Workday data model, tenant architecture, and configuration.
  • Experience working with Workday's security framework, particularly Integration System Users (ISU) and Integration System Security Groups (ISSG).
  • Familiarity with creating and maintaining calculated fields and custom Workday reports.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex integration and data-related issues.
  • Strong attention to code quality, maintainability, security, and production reliability.
